Furriness and Funds distribution
in Portfolio Optimization
Each entity financier is dissimilar,
with diverse financial targets, different levels of risk
forbearance and different individual favorites. From the
point of outlook of investment management, these
distinguishes are habitually defined as intentions and
restrictions. Objectives can be the form of return being
required, while restrictions include factors such as
time perspective, how liquid the depositor is any
individual tax condition and how risk is managed. It’s
truly a harmonizing act between risk and return with
each investor having distinctive prerequisites, as well
as a distinctive financial viewpoint – fundamentally a
embarrassed utility maximization aim. To scrutinize how
sound a customer healthy into a finicky investor group,
one investment dwelling has even planed a structured
questionnaire with about two-dozen questions that each
has to be answered with values from 1 to 5. The
questions array from individual environment (age,
marital state, number of children, job type, education
type, etc.) to what the client expects from an
investment (capital protection, tax shelter, liquid
assets, etc.). A blurry judgment arrangement has been
aimed for the assessment of the answers to the above
questions. We have investigated the notion of furriness
with reverence to funds distribution.

Barriers To ICTs Adoption In SMEs:
Evidence From A Developing Country Perspective
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
contribute a lot to the economy of both developing and
developed countries in terms of diversification of the
economic activities and in job creation. However, SMEs
are not strategically positioned to compete with large
enterprises due to lack of ICTs adoption. The purpose of
this study was to find out the major constraints to ICTs
adoption in SMEs. The methodology adopted in this study
was a convenience random sampling of 250 managers/owners
of SMEs in Gaborone capital city and its surroundings,
in Botswana. The findings of the study indicated that
the major barriers to ICTs adoption in SMEs are lack of
infrastructure, managers are not aware of ICTs benefits,
and lack of security in ICTs tools usage. The study will
make a relevant contribution to body of knowledge and
provoke debate amongst managers of SMEs to come up with
the best strategies to resolve these barriers. The
limitation of the study is that the sample size of SMEs
selected was small to generalize the results.

Ethics In Advertisements & Its
Impact On Consumer Psychology-A Study Of Patiala Region
Advertising is one of the most potent
weapon of promotion in the marketing mix. The companies
are expected to make neat and effective advertisements
that should appeal to the audience in a positive way and
influence them to buy the products. But the actual
picture is not like this. Most of the advertisements
these days are unethical in nature. The overall
corporate industry does not adhere to clear ethical
standards as laid down my ASCI. Lack of strong code of
professional conduct results in companies not able to
distinguish correctly between what is morally right and
wrong, instead focusing solely on making money. With the
increase in competition and consumers becoming more
variety seekers, companies keep on creating attractive
advertisements to woo the viewers. Sometimes these
contain sexual content that one can’t see with the
children. On other occasions these advertisements hurt
the sentiments of people belonging to a particular
religion. This study is aimed at finding the psychology
of people regarding use of unethical advertising and its
ultimate effect on their buying behaviour.

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Determinants of Executive
Employees’ Stress at Indian Multinationals
Living according to someone else’s
values is a highly reactive way of life and the reactive
mode is extremely stressful. An inner conflict develops
stress. Human beings tolerate certain levels of stress.
Damage –psychological or physical –occurs when they are
continually exposed to low or high levels of stress. The
data were analyzed using a factor analysis-Principal
Component model to see if the factors selected represent
the dimensions of employees’ stress. The employees under
study, with a sample of 100 executives all over India,
find it difficult to work and sleep with unsustainable
load. They get stressed due to work related tasks. But
they also have the unique ability to move, change or
modify their relationship with stress situations. They
get remedy with a Program of regular exercise for
fitness, Effective time – management and trusting
relationship with someone to share their problems and
difficulties.

In a continuously changing
environment, it has become impossible to manage
successfully without sustained personal development. The
managers of organizations face the globalization of
business, rapid technological change, continual
reorganizing and competence-based competition. These
developments challenge the skills, competencies and
capabilities of managers in organizations. In light of
these dynamic changes, managers’ competencies also need
to be renewed on a regular basis. The concepts of
skills, competencies and capabilities are all applied
when discussing management development. Their
definitions, however, seemingly remain unclear.
